The Adventures of Lups and Spotty
A story for children to enjoy and share with everyone between 6 and 110 years of age.
by Dr. Gitta Zimmermann and Vivek Singh with handmade paintings from Christiane Lesch
The stories of the jackal Lups and the giraffe Spotty describe their everyday adventures in the jungle. Lups stands for our frequently used violent language, Spotty for non-violent and empathic communication. They become good friends in the course of their experiences. In order to understand their conversations even better from the point of view of the NVC, there are explanations in the wake of the individual stories.
The painter Christiane Lesch has added expressive and authentic watercolours to the stories, which sensitively complement the mostly tender encounters of Lups and Spotty. She has illustrated numerous children´s books, for adults, she paints non-figurative pictures in oil and acrylic. It is important to Christiane Lesch and Gitta Zimmermann to show children hand-painted characters.
This book was also published in German (Article No. 086).
